And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good thing which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.
Joshua 23:14 As we are now on our third year in this country, we reviewed all that God had done for our family, since we first came to this country. We experienced loneliness, but we found comfort in Him and provided friends for us; we didn’t know if we have allowance every month, but He provided for our every need; trials, but He provided for us victories; we tried to look for a house and think that we cannot afford it, but He provided a house for us to live……too many to mention……but in everything, we find Him faithful and His Words true….He never fails…. And will be faithful forever…..
Dear Family and Friends, Greetings in His name! It’s been a while that we have not updated you all of what happened to our family. We are back finally, and are now ready to continue to do what He wants us to do, just in obedience to His will.
Sammy had the opportunity to train believers in H area, teach guitar lessons to some believers here, and personally minister to them. Sammy worked on the water dam with our team mate and workers here. When we came back here, our team leader assigned him to lead the training especially in training the EV people and other believers, please pr for wisdom, especially for the gift of tongue to be able to speak the spiritual language to teach others. He desires to be involved in training the H leaders more often, please pr for the right people to train, travel expense provision and protection. Please pr that Dad will continue to bind the work of the enemies so His Word can freely work in the hearts of the people who hear it.
Dadai had the opportunity of taking care of our neighbors children while they were joining the training for rural trainers, and while they were away. She continues to disciple the mom of the 2 H girls at the farm. Dadai teaches Bri and Samantha 5 days a week, and sometimes teach the 2 H girls. She continues check the animals at the farm, and teaches livestock in-charge, so they too can train others. Last July Dadai’s mom died, it was difficult for all of us, especially for her, but Dad, did comfort her and us through our friends here. The first thing that came to our mind, we want to go home right away, we don’t have money, but we will go home that following day for we know that He’s going to provide for our trip needs. We just don’t know how He worked that time, but that following day, we had the money to fly back to the Philippines and had enough money to come back part on a plane and part on a train. We thank Dad for our friends, team mates who gave money for our trip. We were so touched by some of our local believers at the farm who gave more than half of their salary for the month, just to bless us. It was comforting to know that He is always there to comfort us, and to provide for our needs. We thank Dad for the opportunity of Dadai’s family in the Philippines to share His Gospel to the people for 8 nights. It is comforting to know that Dadai’s mom is with the Lord, but still difficult for her to know that she won’t see her mom for a while. Please pr for her, as she still remembers her mom more often, please pr that she will just completely cling on the Father for comfort. Please pr for wisdom as she continues to do home school, and for opportunity to share her faith to new friends. Please pr for spiritual language too, as she disciples other women.
Brianna is doing well in her school; she continues to love her sister. When we were in KM, we didn’t know that her 2 front teeth were moving and the new teeth were coming up. She was so scared to have them pulled by us, she wanted to go to the dental clinic. We thought that it was so expensive and we might not afford it, but when we asked the dentist said that it’s only 5 yuan per tooth. We were all happy for her to have new teeth (picture1). September 17 she received J.C. as her Lord and Savior, she was so happy that she shared her faith to our neighbor’s daughter too. Please pr for Bri, as she continues to minister to her friends too. Please pr for protection for her and Samantha. Please pr that she will continue to seek HIM and grow in the knowledge of Him.
Samantha is doing well; continue to love her sister and us. She loves her friends too, and always remembers them in her prs. She still doesn’t like school, but is trying to like it though. Please pr that she will like school. Please pr for protection, for one day we were looking for our hamster outside, she saw a snake, good that she didn’t move, but instead she stood still, but kept shouting in her little voice that there was snake, thank Dad for protection. We thank Dad for Brianna and Samantha’s nice dresses that our friend bought, they are so happy for it. (picture 2). Sammy is going to attend our friend’s wedding, and from wedding he will go to the village with our H team leader to check on the water project opportunity. Please pr for their opportunity to establish friendship with the people and that people there will see His Glory through this project. Please pr for his fruitful visit in MJ. PLs pr for Dadai and the girls who will be left at the farm with few workers.
We thank Dad for our visa, and how He provided everything for our stay in the city. We got our one year visa, for we thought, that we will only be given 6 months visa because our NGO’s registration will expire in April. WE were thinking that it will be another expense for us, we are blessed by His favor on this. We thank Dad for the chu in Cebu City(MCBC) who has a heart for the M work, and for their commitment to pr for the work here.
We thank Dad for you all who joined His work here through us by giving financially and praying for the work here. As He is faithful to provide for our needs, we know that He will bless you more and will continue to be faithful to your family until He comes.
Thank you for your partnership. We do love to hear from each of you, because we want to know, how we can pr for you.
In Him we serve,
Sammy, Dadai, Bri and Sami
